Hamburg is always worth a trip, especially when it comes to exciting digital projects, strong partnerships, and new growth strategies. That's exactly why we were on site to push forward two important topics at once: the start of a new project right at the harbor and an intensive strategy meeting with our long-time client and friend Rico from Face-to-Face-Dating.

Project kick-off at the Port of Hamburg

Between cranes, containers, and an impressive waterfront backdrop, we laid the groundwork for a new project. There will be more info soon, but this much can already be said:

• It's going to be technically exciting

• It combines product strategy with a clear growth vision

• It has enormous potential for scaling and performance

In the coming weeks we'll provide further insights here on the blog into the project goals, the technical implementation, and the strategic considerations behind the concept.

👉 Stay tuned, this is going to be exciting!

Strategy workshop with Rico: Features & Performance Marketing

Another highlight of our Hamburg trip was the in-person meeting with Rico from Face-to-Face-Dating. We've been working together for many years, and that's exactly why sessions like these are particularly valuable to us.

Focus of the meeting

1. App improvements & new features

• User-centered enhancements

• Optimization of the customer journey

• Stronger differentiation in the dating market

2. Performance Marketing & scaling

• Integration of product and marketing

• Tracking setup & analytics optimization

• Conversion optimization across the funnel

In the dating sector, it's not just reach that matters, but product quality, user experience, and data-driven optimization.

Our approach

Performance Marketing optimizes campaigns based on data and only works sustainably when product and marketing are thought of strategically together.

Why personal customer contact makes projects more successful

Long-term collaboration for us is based not only on good technology or clean KPIs, but on trust. This trust is built through regular exchange: digitally, but also in person. On-site meetings help sharpen visions, define priorities together, and openly discuss challenges.

For us, these trips are more than just entries on a calendar. We notice every time how much energy is created when people sit together in a room, think ideas out loud, challenge each other, and receive immediate feedback. Especially because we work Remote-First, we value these intentional moments of closeness all the more.

Hamburg showed us once again that Remote-First is not contradictory to closeness. Quite the opposite! The combination of structured remote work and targeted in-person meetings forms the foundation of successful projects for us. And that very foundation often emerges in personal conversations: between a digital whiteboard, real coffee, and a beautiful harbor view.

Conclusion: This was just the beginning

The visit to Hamburg once again showed how important being together in person is:

• A new, exciting project at the harbor was launched

• With Rico from Face-to-Face-Dating, we developed new feature and marketing strategies

• We were reminded once again that successful collaboration is based on trust and personal exchange

In the coming weeks we'll take you behind the scenes of our harbor project. You can look forward to learnings, strategies, and technical insights!
